So I don't really do these things often, well, not as often as I post here, but even still, I'm not here much. When I am here though, and when I'm browsing the front page, I always sit and wonder how so many pieces of "art" is actually making it there. When I say "art", I mean "content that is LITERALLY not art at all". This ranges from memes, screencaps, MS Paint bucket-filled edits of screencaps, "photography" of extremely obese people eating burgers and fries (I shit you not, there were at lease 5 pictures posted of this lady that had to be at least 300lbs eating frenchfries, and uploader said that she was "posing".. eh >~<; ), and various other things that are just not art at all. (too late, cant remember) I just really want to know what dA will do about this problem before it get's out of hand. I mean, it's making the little guy's not have a chance since their works can never make it to the front page, and a meme can. I know I'm not a good artist at all, but there are people that can't draw at all that are receiving too much attention for content that isn't worth as much as the attention that it is receiving.

that's just about it really. maybe next journal, I'll post all the works that I see on the front page that are literally not art. Feel free to leave a civil comment. No raging here, since I didn't rage : P
